What We Do
Smile Solutions

If you are not satisfied with your smile, our office can provide you with a smile analysis. A make-over of a smile can be achieved with procedures such as cosmetic bondings, porcelain veneers, all ceramic crowns and bridges, gingivectomies (gum recontouring procedures), to just name a few. Working closely with our master dental ceramists, we can restore or greatly enhance your existing smile.

Implant Dentistry

Our office covers all aspects of implant dentistry, from guided bone regeneration (GBR), to sinus lifts and augmentation, to guided dental implant surgeries. Common procedures performed at the office include immediate implant placement after extraction, immediate loading of implants, and hybrid implant restorations. Dr. Chen is one of the few practitioners in the country to have completed the two-year Advanced Education in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University, a program that accepts only a handful of dental specialists from around the world each year.

Prosthodontics

The specialty of prosthodontics encompasses procedures such as full-mouth reconstruction/oral rehabilitation, fixed and removable partial dentures (crowns, bridges and stay plates), and occlusal appliances such as night guards for patients who grind their teeth while sleeping (bruxism).

Oral Sleep Appliances

Have you been diagnosed with sleep apnea but cannot tolerate a continuous positive airway pressure machine (CPAP)? You are not alone, as studies have shown that 60% of the users are CPAP intolerant by the third month of usage.  Good news is that oral sleep appliances may offer you a less intrusive and more convenient option.  Similar in size to a sports guard, the oral appliances advance the lower jaw to enlarge the airway without the bulkiness of a mask and machine.

Maintenance is much less when compared to the machine and without the logistics of transporting it when traveling. CPAP intolerant patients often find that the oral sleep appliances improve their overall quality of life while decreasing the symptoms of sleep apnea.

Dr. Chen is a graduate of the UCLA mini-residency in sleep medicine and collaborates with physicians in treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea who are interested in exploring options besides the CPAP.

Emergency Dentistry

Do you have a painful or cracked tooth, missing dental crown, or swollen face or jaw? We are here to make you comfortable again and restore your dentition esthetically and functionally.
